Johnny Depp rocks. Not only does he do good things (giving £1 million to Great Ormond Street, reading to children as Jack Sparrow), he does them without making a fuss about them. Via [livejournal.com profile] zarq.

Now the question: Should I keep on posting links on my journal to stuff I think people will find interesting? I've got a fairly widely spread reading list, both through LJ and elsewhere, and I do often see things that I think others might find interesting.

Are people finding it interesting? I've been doing it a bit more recently, and I'm debating whether or not I want to carry on, and feedback on whether my links are interesting or "Eh" or "Seeeeeeen iiiiit" would be useful.

Agreed, half the time I link to something it's because I want to remember it but don't want to bookmark it, and doubled up links are part of the whole blogging thing, especially when reading lists crossover.

It also keeps your journal active even when you've now to say, which is good.
