Vampire Game stuff

Two things:

Firstly, what days are good for people? Usually LARP runs stuff on a Thursday, but most of the things that was timetabled to work around don't happen any more. Tuesdays is probably out cause there's Colin's and Ash's games, Wednesday is currently the day for Mark's Warped game, but that may be open for change, and Fridays would mean that Beedle would have generally headed home before the game. Anyways, tell us which days are good, and which are bad.

Secondly, can people send in bits of background as they come up with them - you'll retain full rights to go "Wait, I've changed my mind!!", but whenever you've got either a portion of your background, a general idea of what your character would be into, or indeed your character as a 7/5/3 starting character, please do send it to us (best to send to both me and Colin), as it gives us stuff to work with in designing the game

Edit
Thirdly; to summarise for people, in terms of clans we currently have stated interest in Tremere, Toredor, Nosferatu, Ventrue, and Malkavian, leaving Gangrel and Brujah as the clans with their Primogen slot 'free'. I think that I'm remembering right that the Prince's clan still gets a Primogen, correct me if I'm wrong. Given that we've got at least two people interested that haven't expressed an opinion and two more I'm going to point at the first post about this, chances are there are going to be more players than Primogen. Which is nice. No one has yet expressed interest in the position of Keeper of Elysium or any other positions for that matter.

May I suggest looking at similar to what Mark is doing, possibly in conjunction with him. Do one or two weekdays and one weekend each month. If you arranged it with Mark to do the games on the same day, you could possibly get people such as Abi, Mike and I down more often.

Tuesday and Wednesday are best for me, though obviously I understand if it's at another time.

Regarding background, some basic level (i.e. what sort of age, generation ranges are we looking at) of rules stuff would be good so that it's possible to come up with something which will fit well.

I've been kicking things around in my head over the weekend, and should have something for you when I get home tomorrow.

With Regard to Background:

The basic plot-wise background is that Exeter was opened up to the Camarilla about 200 years ago with the destruction of some scary demon-monster that was controling the place. Little is known about it's actual nature. The two surviving members of the group that took it down declared themselves Prince and Sheriff of the city, and invited others to join them. They still hold these positiions. You will be playing some of the kindred who moved in around that time, or were sired soon after, and who have survived long enough to attain the positions of Elders ion the city.

As for the status of the city at the moment: There is Anarch, but no known Sabat presence. There are Lupines somewhere in the area, but there is a general non-agression pact there, providing you're subtle enough not to piss them off too much. They don't seem to pay too much attention to the city. Other than that, we're still plotting, and are open to suggestions. If you have any ideas for things going on that fit in with a character concept, we'll listen and taked them up or not, depending on how they fit with our ideas for the game.

And as for there being a Gangrel primogen, it's pretty much up to the Prince. Many do not allow Ganngrel primogen because the clans has officialy left the Camarilla and gone independant. If anyone particularly wants it, alright, but I think we are fine without. Or the Sheriff can take the role.

More with the background: I'd guess that quite a lot of Gangrel probably arrived in the city in the early years, but many would then have drifted off as it became apparent that the Gngrel in charge were very much Camarilla Elders at least as much as they were Gangrel.

Didn't the Assamites sign up for Cam membership?
Not that I want the fuckers in the game at all...

Probably. There is the possibility that someone could try and persuade us that they'd not screw the game around too much with that. Wouldn't be too easy, though.
