I agree with the conclusions in the article on Republicanism.

The actual powers of the Queen are so small that it probably doesn't matter much whether the Head of State is elected or born.

The article itself is a bit of a shambles of rhetoric masquerading as fact.

Heh. Aye, I agree with the general starting point of the article, but it could make its argument a bit more effectively and less overly emotively. Reminds me of why I stopped reading the Independent…
