Really? Their essential beef with him seems to be "He's a nerd who needs to get a life" and complain that money is spent talking to the general public about science; whilst they highlight a couple of the same things as you, they seem to think it's fine to complain about his accent and appearance, whereas you've said you admit your dislike is completely irrational.
