Status update (Urrrgh), and links.
Mar. 6th, 2008 11:16 pmHmm. Had thought I was feeling somewhat better, and might be going back to uni tommorrow. Then I popped to the co-op and back (5 minute trip). Not only did I actually feel cold under my coat (in temperatures I'd normally describe as 'pleasantly bracing' while walking around in a t shirt), but also nausea (with definite aggressive "I may well soon throw up" overtones, as opposed to the tamer attacks of nausea I've had for years), as well as head-lag.
Appologise to the Plymouth people I almost failed to see - that wasn't me blanking you, that was my normal lack of perception combined with my current fucked-upness.
Oh, and I currently can't browse the internet on my PC properly, due to screening on it being turned on when the residence manager turned off the "Browsing only" setting that my transfering stuff from one computer to another had turned on. I haven't investigated fully what it does and doesn't block, but it doesn't let Urban Dictionary through, so it's sufficent for me to just use my Mac instead.
I'm pretty certain that all the stuff that's supposed to stop people abusing the network is just worked around by those that are really abusing it, whereas it's people like me who set off the stuff through non-abusive stuff that actually are inconvienienced.
