Ragnarök Typography
Nov. 6th, 2007 07:05 pmMore graphic design help requesting I'm afraid...
I'm doing a project of phrophecy, and I've decided to concetrate on Ragnarök, as it's something that I know bits about, but not all that much detail, and it's interesting for the way the Gods know what will happen and such. Due to prophecy being about the power of words, I'm going to do something typographically based, and probably end up either with a book on it or a set of posters/bits of typographic art, as if for a art gallery.
So, I'm going to be researching into it, and given that I know a few people on my friends list have an interest in Norse mythology and suchlike, I was wondering if anyone could suggest good places to start looking? Some overview of what's supposed to happen would be good, but what would be great would be an evocative and interesting English translation of the tales of it - the Edda and suchlike.
So, any suggestions?
