conservative pledge that stated that African American children were more
likely to grow up in stable families during the era of slavery than under
President Barack Obama. Sure, that part wasn't in the specific vow she signed, but it was in the preamble, and by signing, she's effectively endorsing the whole thing.

One of the traditional knocks against renewable energy comes over the question of what to do when wind isn’t blowing or the sun isn’t shining, since demand for power never stops. Cost effective storage of that power would make it possible to create a reliable base load and enable smart grid technologies.

Black guytries to cash a (large) cheque at a bank. Bank refuses, has him arrested for cheque fraud. They fairly quickly work out they're wrong, ring up cops to say its a mistake. Cop they call is out, so the guy spends four days in jail. During which his car (left in the bank's park) is impounded then auctioned. Lack of car leads to him losing his job. One wonders at the likelihood of that happening to someone who wasn't black.
