nakedsamuraiguy) has a pair of friends of his who need a place in London for five months for a course of some description; anyone who can help direct them to good agent for such would be much appreciated.
Less vague description of the needs:
So Ash and Mike arrived today (tuesday as of typing). As you may remember I asked for help with london based estate agents to help find them a place for their 5 month stay here. Ash & Mike found a place through relocate me . com only to have their offer countered at the last second, however with some creative telemphonications from myself their original offer was then accepted.
Today was the farce of putting the last payment through and then moving them in. It did not go well. First their payments where subject to charges (by their bank) second they couldn't move in having transfered the money which was not yet available (due to transfer from overseas bank) Then after some negotiation they were allowed to move in, they signed the contract and then saw the place for the first time (have been sent photos of it previously) The photos where when it was first remodelled, since then previous tennants had filthed up the place broken stuff, including a window. After sending an angry Mike back in the lease was revoked and they were refunded.
Currently Ash & Mike are here with me in Bridestowe, sleeping in the spare room. They have two weeks before Mike is to officially start his course, they need a place in London by then. You're help with recommending dependable estate agents/ private lettors is requested. While rightmove.co.uk has some promising offers, these are all listed as long term, they are only here for five months.

Edit: More specifics on location: "Close to Islington and the MET uni area is ideally where they want to be but anywhere within 30mins tube ride to there would be good."
